The Garden Villages portfolio, formally known as Village Life, comprises 32 villages across Australia. The recently rebranded properties are located in geographically diverse regions across Australia, in well developed residential neighbourhoods with a high proportion of the population aged over 65.
The portfolio was previously managed by SCV Group Limited (SCV) but as of 30 September 2008, all 32 villages are now internally operated by the Fund. The direct management of these assets will further ILF's position to become a fully integrated owner/operator within the senior's rental market.
The Garden Village portfolio is a rental portfolio and represents 12% of the Fund.
