In August 2007 the Fund acquired a 50% interest in Frankston Private. Completed in August 2006, Frankston Private is a purpose built hospital and medical facility situated approximately 42 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula.
Frankston Private provides a broad range of healthcare services within the one facility, with a particular focus on cancer services. The facility comprises a three theatre/17 bed day surgery facility, a two bunker radiotherapy unit, day oncology, pathology, ratdiology services and medical consulting.
The facility is well positioned with its broader catchment extending across areas designated for residential expansion.
